Prayer for addiction

Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart that longs for freedom. Addiction has taken hold in ways that feel overwhelming, but I know nothing is too difficult for You. Please break every chain that keeps me bound—every craving, every habit, every destructive pattern. Replace the desire for harmful things with a desire for Your presence. Strengthen my mind when temptation comes and remind me that Your power is greater than my weakness. Surround me with people who will support, encourage, and walk with me. Heal the wounds that led me into addiction and restore my identity as Your beloved child. I trust that You can make me whole again. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
