Will we recognize each other in heaven?

The Bible suggests we will. At the Transfiguration, Peter, James and John recognized Moses and Elijah, even though they'd never met them. After His resurrection, Jesus was recognized by His friends, and His scars were still visible, so He was clearly the same person. When David's baby son died, he said, "I will go to him, but he will not return to me." Jesus said many will sit down at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, which assumes they'll be known. Paul comforted the Thessalonians who were grieving believers who had died by saying they'd be caught up "together with them," a reunion. He also wrote, "Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known." If anything, we'll know each other better, not less. Our resurrection bodies will be changed and glorified, but we'll still be ourselves. Love and relationships are part of what God will redeem, not erase.
